Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: great camera for the price Comment: good camera for the price. also, lots of features so it may take a little getting used to. the "slide" control for moving from option to option in the menu takes a bit to get used to but that comes wiht a few practices. video is great and the camera is fairly easy to use out of the box. charge it up and go for the most part. have not edited too much with the software so I cant comment on that yet. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice cam, but with problems. Comment: For all you Mac and Quicktime lovers out there: BEWARE! This camera creates a different type of file that cannot be read by Quicktime. What's worse is the JVC offers no software for Macs or any sort of converter program. Wow, you pay $500 for a cam from a multi-billion dollar company like JVC and they don't bother to help you!!! Fortunately there is a free program called "MPEG Steamclip" that can export the files to something Quicktime will understand, however very time consuming.
