Customer Rating: Summary: Nikon Coolpix L100 Comment: Ever since seeing years ago a nearly $1000 Sony made camera similar in design to this one I have wanted a camera like this. I used to do freelance photography at college and have been a fan of Nikon cameras since the original FM. This Nikon camera has a tremendous zoom range and sells for around $200. Hard to believe it's been superseded already by another similar model, but such is life in the digital camera world these days. Mostly, it is poor lighting...either the images are too hot if I use the flash, or too red if I use one of the low-light settings or the automatic settings. I have few good pictures to show for this camera. Also, it goes into power-save mode way too quickly and then by the time it wakes up, you've missed your shot. More than once I have hit the power button instead of the shutter. It's always something. I'm planning to be much more careful about my next camera, which I plan to purchase soon, because this one just is not the right one for me.
