Comment: I got this for my 11 year old daughter who loves to make movies. It is perfect for her and she
loves it. It is easy and simple to use and very compact.

Summary: best new gadget i purchased for myself!
Comment: i just bought the iflip 2nd generation in black/silver. i purchased it specifically to record my
daughters' sports games because my girls don't like it when they can see me carrying around all
sorts of video equipmnent to "capture" these memories. i cannot say enough great things about this
iflip. i was able to use it unobtrusively at all of the games, and when i got back home i simply
plugged it into my home pc, and uploaded all the video. i cannot say how many old video tapes i
have lying around the house that i haven't even copied to the pc for safekeeping and yet all of
these videos on iflip were copied within minutes! i was even able to use software to make a dvd to
hand out to parents who may not have a computer!
i can see where some people who want that
profesional quality might see some shaking, and need more zoom capability but for me the ease of
using this product and how convenient and portable it is completely outweigh those things. plus for
the price? it's less than a lot of digital still cameras.
the only "con" i guess i could say
is i'm worried about the iflip hanging out of the PC while it's plugged in... it does seem risky,
especially with all the business of our household. but i've seen the reviews on thos extra iflip
usb cables and no one seems to like those either...

Summary: Good camera, bad customer service
Comment: I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. The picture quality and ease of use are
great, but the camera died within two months. It just would not turn on anymore. FLIP customer
service is EXTREMELY slow, takes forever to get someone on the phone, and then after reporting the
issue by phone we had to wait another 72 hours to hear from the higher level tech support people for
a return number. Since it is within 90 days it is still covered by warranty so they will replace,
but the customer has to pay the shipping on a defective product. This was disappointing, and I think
the company should pay for the return, but otherwise, good product.

Comment: I got several of these recorders and gave them to our daughters. They video tape ball games and
snowball fights and any little fun thing our grandkids are doing . Best best , easiest product -
simple to use - simple to download - just wonderful
