Summary: Just what I expected
Comment: The Flip Ultra is exactly what I expected. I read the other Amazon reviews and got a good sense of
how the recorder worked. I also had the unfortunate opportunity to rank how the Flip handles a drop
on the hard wood floor. It happened on day 1 when my kids (who loved it and were playing with it for
hours), dropped the Flip on the hard wood floor. Of course I came running over when they said it no
longer worked. And, it didn't, at first. But after reseating the batteries, it came back on. Thank
goodness!!!! But, I am not going to retest that option. So, remember that it is an electronic device
and may not handle falls. I think I got lucky on this one, but am glad it did as well as it did. />

Comment: I did my homework to find an inexpensive video camera that took good videos. I held my breathe
because you never know what the quality is going to be. I am pleasantly sureprised, this takes great
little video, and the ease of downloading them into your computer is great. Comes with cords to hook
up to your tv if that is where you want to watch and share your videos.
Priced in walmart at
190.00, and somewhere else at 149.00. This was 116.oo with free shipping. I think i am going to buy
another one for my mom it is easy enough for her to use!`

Comment: Suprisingly Amazing video from this little powerhouse. For quick on the go snip-its of video or all
those times you said "Boy I wish I had a video camera right now" well this is the one for you. Great
to catch all those unexpected life's memorable moments at the drop of a hat. The quality of the
video is very good. The zoom feature is not as advanced as the bigger clunkier video cameras but
really decent. The plug and play feature to transfer your videos to your computer couldn't be
easier. The software that comes on the camera itself is so easy to edit and share anybody can do it.
This is one great little video camera and well worth the money to have one at your finger tips to
catch those special moments.

Comment: I've been searching for a good quality easy to use camcorder and finally found Ultra. Picture
quality is awesome. The only thing that I wish is that,they should of add an SD Card slot.

Comment: I really like this camcorder. Its easy to use, works great, love the software, its really nice.
What gets me is that they couldn't toss in a male to female USB cable when they shipped it. The
camcorder was meant to plug directly into a USB port for image transfer and charging. There is a
problem - two really. 1. The camcorder is much to heavy to "hang" from a USB port on a computer
tower. They included an adapter to plug into a TV, but what they REALLY should have included was
the male to female USB extension cord.

I bought the optional AC wall charger. The
charger does not support the Flip well and it is hard on the USB stick that flips out. When you
charge it from a USB port on your computer, the "charge" progress screen is on the bottom, making it
impossible to see when charging is complete. I looked for their USB cables and they want around
16-18 bucks and they give you several. You only need one.

If you get ANY Flip
camcorder, plan on buying a male to female USB extension cord because if you don't, you stand the
possibility that the stick may become loose or break after several uses. They made a nice
camcorder. They just needed to throw in a USB cable for me to give it five stars. Without it, it
gets 3.5.
