Summary: great for travel!
Comment: I recently went to Malaysia and didn't want to bring a big bulky camera with tapes and battery
chargers, etc. I also didn't have a whole lot left in my budget after purchasing my plane ticket.
I decided to go with a flip and was very happy that I did. It was so portable that I could take it
trekking through rain forests and so durable that it survived tapping against rock after rock. I
wouldn't suggest dropping it from a cliff or anything, but it, unlike most modern electronics, can
take a light fall. It was also great to hook it right up to my friend's computer without having to
keep a separate cord. My family could not only read that I was okay, but they could see it for
themselves. It may not have night vision, or a hook-up for a boom mic, but it gets the job done
easily and affordably without a lot of hassle.

-- the video is great quality: when the light is not that great, the video is
actually better than what I see with a naked eye. Quite amazing!
-- The two little batteries
last a looong time. In fact, I haven't managed to use them up yet

The only problem is
that my dog stops doing whatever cute thing he is doing as soon as the camera comes out, and only
wants to sit and stare. But that's not really the camera's fault...

Comment: I love my Flip video. It is so small and easy to use. I'v taken lots of mini 'movies' and posted a
bunch of them on Facebook. I have nothing bad to say about this product. The quality is great...it's
really fun to use.

Summary: Miserable Product, Even Worse Customer Service!
Comment: This was supposed to be a Christmas present for my teenager and the thing never worked. It would
boot up, and then go dark. That was it. I went the rounds with technical support and then customer
service. After technical support ignored me long enough, they finally gave up and sent me to
customer service. Customer service then claimed they had not received the returned product. After
sending the UPS tracking number they finally admitted that they had received yet. Still, weeks have
gone by and they have not shipped the new product. Customer service just now told me that it will
ship soon. Here it is April and my son still hasn't received a working Christmas present. I guess
I can always give it to him for the 4th of July.

Summary: Great little camcorder
Comment: I brought this small, fit-in-the-purse camcorder with me on a recent trip. I love it! It's only 2
hours video time, but one minute sure is long when you're recording. I discovered that 2 hours was
plenty for my needs. It's super easy to use, and you can set it on the table and let it do the
recording for you. The video was clear and sound great. Great price, compact, easy to use -- I
recommend it! :)
