Panning with this tripod is a disaster. Forget about tilting up or down. In short, it will not do what you're hoping it will do, which is keep your shots steady when you're actually using the camera. It's just as portable as the camera and easy to take with you. Customer Rating: Summary: Don't use with FlipComment: I recently bought a Flip Ultra HD which is nice except for the lack of image stabilization. So I figured a small tripod was in order. The problem with this product is that it is too flimsy to work with the Flip Video unit. The Flip makes this tripod much to top heavy which makes it topple over with even the slightest of vertical adjustments. Luckily it works fine for a small Sony cybershot that I have had for some time. If you are looking for a mini-tripod for any Flip Video recorder, I highly suggest you find one that is slightly larger and heavier to stabilize the Flip unit.
